Can someone tell me if the 1986 HJ61RG Landcruiser Sahara came standard with dual batteries ?

On a Aust Spec vehicle the last letter of the model code is a "Q"

The japanese market models had duals and 24 v starting systems.

Any advantage in the Jap's 24V starting system?
Read somewhere that Nato's spec was 24V right thru. Must be a military thing or just better for the outback/cold?
