Its been nearly 2yrs since I had my last holiday where me & the missus went to Darwin, now we are going to do another trip from good old Rocky qld to Perth up and around back down the coast line to VIC then back home u get the picture, about 6 weeks on the road towing the van (STX 550 + 18ft 2.2ton van , going start of August to mid September, hopefully the weather will be kind, have no itinerary just gunna stop where and when we feel like it thats the way we did our last holiday no bookings either get a van site or go to the next one if we don't like, will have to get 50000km service done around perth so any recommendations for Nissan over there.

Cheers Lyle

after some very poor service from one Nissan Dealer and super expensive service from another we changed over to RAC servicing at Cannington - they follow the service book and reasonably priced.

There is a mob in Welshpool named Robson Brothers that advertise as being 4WD specialists. I have never used them or anyone else for that matter as I do my own repairs and servicing but they are supposed to be fairly good.
I have no affiliation with them, just word around the traps.
Nissan dealers....Hmmmmm (;-)), take your pick.

Hi Hunter,

Thats roughly 20,000km so average 500kms a day - towing a van? It might be a trial run but maybe with just a bit of planning you could have a holiday as well. Just a thought.
Cheers,
Val.
