Hi,

Just joined and have bought a Toyota 4 Runner. However it needs some serious beefing up.

Anyone know where I could get some SR5 Rims for a reasonable price?

Hiya Jess

New sunraysias in 15inch are only 50 $ each from most tyre places. I picked up second hand ones for 25 each easy enough. I appreciate they're not the sr5 you were after but tis an easy option.

Just my personal opinion, but I'd rather steel rims and awsome tyres than pretty rims and ok tyres! I've a got a surf with pretty alloy rims on it, everytime I go out I scratch them up some more, if I ever replace them it'll be with steel cheapies.

To be honest I don't know even know what the SR5 rims look like, my fiance just said he wanted them!!
But I don't want to go and spend money on something that is only going to get damaged when I can get steel rims which look just as good.

Jess,

I agree withe guys above. I've just sold my SR5 rims and put steel sunraysias on my SR5 Hilux because the original alloy look good (great in fact) but just don't cut it in the rough - or even little-bit-rough - stuff.

To give you some idea the Sunraysias cost me $50 new, as mentioned above, and Toyota's asking price for new SR5 alloys are - wait for it - $295 EACH.

Go the steels.Cheers, Jim
