So sue me Lyn,

While you are at it you can sue the person who put the board and the star picket up as well, and while you are in that frame of mind, you can sue every person who puts up some sort of unofficial sign, cache or marker in the bush. Give me a call when you're done!!

Lyn W3,

Litter & rubbish in the bush/outback is usually left by the people who don't : live in the bush, care about taking it with them, etc.

Signs in our big outback country are erected at some time
for reason. Mainly to direct Station poeple, Mining company workers, tourists and so the list goes on.

I would say the sign in the photos would be one of them.

Have a good day. P&J

Station people don't need directing, they know where they are going, and where they come from.

Yes, you are 100% correct and I know that, but a lot of Townies don't.

Hey MJ,

That's a great idea, reverse pass the parcel - the parcel is stationary and the participants move.

When the music stops, I'm with you :))) lol

I must have missed the purpose of all this drivel.
Is there a point to passing a sign or sticker and what significance is it?
Maybe the heat has got to some.

Hi Ross,
The heat got to me many years ago and I have never fully recovered, sorry about that.

There is a point, it's called "Fun". I'm not forcing you to play. :))

Cheers

I think the idea is - Australia is a fairly massive piece of land. If you are driving through a part of it that has that sign, and that sign has an ExporOz sticker on it and it has the name equinox written directly underneath it, you are there. If you want to you can write your name under the last name written underneath the sticker, which may, or may not be, the name equinox.
If you happen to arrive at that exact point of the Australian continent and see said sign, with said sticker attached, and said name written beneath the said sticker, you can choose to drive past without doing anything with said sticker and keep going, or do whatever you want to do.

How good is that?

Steve

Hi David,
The two clues I meant to leave are staring at you in the face. The the third clue I didn't meant to leave, but is more cryptic - but then I'm bias :))

I'm not saying anymore on where it is as I may accidentally let the cat out of the bag.

Cheers

Clues? Photo is dated 4th Nov 2012. On 5th Nov you travelled east from Carnegie to Docker River, along Gunbarrel Hway. So your photo on 4th must be a bit west of Carnegie, towards Wiluna.

Warm?

And yes equinox, if it's outback we'd love it...... unfortunately this year we've been grounded, no tripping the outback for us in 2013....

Ron173,
No! there is a cat in the hat under the sticker and he is hoping you talk to him on twitter. One fish two fish red fish blue fish.

Remember. Some pills make you larger and some pills make you small but the ones mother gives you don't do anything at all. Go ask Alice I think she knows.
