Has anyone compiled a
check list of things to do prior to travelling oz. Eg. Renting house, organising mail, kids education, bills etc.... we are heading off in July for approx 12 months. Any help would be appreciated

We were going to do the same thing as yourself, so I checked out the explore oz trip planning article and it gave us enough answers to get us through. We also used the trip planner for our trip to lake Eyre last year, and I am now using it again for my trip to Queensland in June. Happy travels, I hope you find it as useful as we did.
