My Shop Item Rating:
I am very impressed with my recent purchase of the HN6. Build quality is excellent. No problems so far with the windscreen mounting mechanism although I haven't been off-road yet. Love the warning announcements for speed zone changes & red light cameras. These will be very useful as a driving aid particularly in towns/citys that I am not familiar with.
Would have liked to be able to plan a trip using Street Navigation on my PC then upload to the HN6. (My old Garmin could do this by attaching the GPS to the computer using a USB cable - but I can only load the Hema Maps into my PC from the DVD)
Unfortunately my very first address search for a house that we own in Point Turton didn't find the address (its been there for over 20 years and Google Maps etc have it displayed correctly). On a positive note though there is a process for reporting errors and the service/response I received from Hema was first class.
In spite of these 2 negatives I am very happy with my purchase.
