An around Australia cruise. She can swim, go shopping, sunbake, watch movies, etc while you sit in an air conditioned bar. Then when you stop at each Australian port, she can do more of the same, while you continue to sit at the bar, but most likely will get dragged along.

Only problem with this, is that some foreign country gets your money except when you land.

Allan

I'm with you.

I don't understand what people see in cruises.

For a start you can't fish of the back of the boat!

Bring her down here to Tassie, every body tells me it's cold in the winter.
Swmbo can tip toe through the snow on top of Mount Wellington while you go to the bottle shop for your port.

I'll 2nd Tassie. Was there in September and you get 4 seasons in one day. Highlight was snowing whilst walking around Dove Lake. Just take clothing (thermal underwear) appropriate for the day and you will be fine. It's a fantastic place.

mate head into the north west, mostly the weather will be tolerably warm during the day and often sub zero at night.......but thats what blankets are for.....right.

Lots of those places are simply unpleasant or outright dangerous to be in during summer.

If ya went to a lot of those places in summer, the insects would carry you away day or night.....at least in winter you can sit arround the camp fire at night without being drenched in chemicals or carrying a club for the big ones.

Yeh best of both worlds.

Even on the coast......in the far north if you want to swim, it has to be winter....the marine stingers arent so much of a problem and even the crocks are slower.
You can walk arround in light clothing during the day..no problem.

If ya want the cold...just head an hour or so west into the hinterlad and it chills down pretty damn fast.

head north mate at least you can thaw out during the day

cheers

Don't see what the problem is Axle. You go north, she goes south. Everyone's a winner.

(;-)))

Just don't tell her I said so. PLEASE.

Cheers
