To my knowledge Bosch do not make solar panels. Possibly a scam.
Let us know how it performs, as it sounds like a good price.

J&R

It appears Bosch made its entry into solar panels around 2011.

The OP just stated that they were branded Bosch, not made by Bosch.

Thanks, based on the dimensions supplied this product will be the perfect fit for me...but a quick search finds the same product on ebay and the dimensions shown in that listing are different to those shown on esold. I also notice there is an identical picturs used for the Bosch unit and a 130W sharp kit on esold. Makes me worry about the rigour behind the info on the products.

When it arrives, can you confirm the dimensions - in particular that each panel is 25mm thick as per esold, or if it is 35mm as per other sites. I have a space in my camper about 60mm think, and if this folding kit really is 50mm thick folded, it will be perfect for my needs.

Regards, Tim

eSold today advised that the panels are 30mm thick! Not sure who to trust, so I'll wait for your measurements before I jump in....

Thanks Peter. I'm go smacked that they cannot give accurate dimensions either on their website or when specifically asked to check. Thanks for saving me from wasting my money.

upon closer inspection (with glasses on) each little square is marked with the Bosch trademark,i think there is no doubt the panel is manufactured by Bosch and fitted to the frame, legs, controller etc by the reseller

Found your post when looking for good deals on solar panels for camping. I found some Aussie made ones at Aussie Batteries & Solar, they also use the Bosch panels but are very pricey and the MPPT controller is an upgrade (optional extra). Would love to hear how you went with your new purchase.

I checked the voltage output before the mppt controller it read
20.5V which is the open circuit v i think that V is approaching
the rated output of the panel 21.73V had i moved the panel around
to face the sun more accurately i would have got the rated performance 21.73v this panel is still available from eSold.com.au and i would have no hesitation to buy another if i needed it I will chech the amps output today and see what it comes up with and will let you know after midday
