Hi all,

Wondering if anyone can help ..... we are planning at trip up to Cape York in August this year, i've read all the posts on here and doing all the research, i am aware of having to pre-book for national parks etc.

Can anyone give opinions on the best places to camp along the way, must-see things to do etc, things to be aware of/look out for.

It's all good and well to read all the books etc, but to hear from people who have already been there would be great.

Thank you!

Too much for me to type especially after a long winded reply I gave last night to another post. lol

Have you had a look through the blogs? Lots there on Cape York. Just put Cape York in the search box (top RH corner) and you will get a lot to choose from.

Havent been there yet so unable to assist further - but if we had been there we would have a blog about it!

Cheers,

Hey Chargergirl,

Why not download Campee. Its a free iPhone app that shows you thousands of Campsites and Caravan Parks.

It has all the campsite facilities and descriptions so it will help you figure out where to camp for the night. While you are there you can also add campsites you have loved and share it back with the community.

CLICK HERE to check it out.

Cheers,
