Van and car storage around Melbourne, Vic

Hi everyone,

We are travelling around Australia and hoping to continue on overseas in June/July this year for approximately 10-12 mths, as our house is rented at the moment we will need to find storage for our Jayco Dove Van/Trailer and car. Could anyone kindly advise on the following:

1. Details of cheap, realiable, long term van storage around Melbourne;
2. Same details for car storage;
3. What effects would 10 months of storage (and not being driven) have on our diesal 4x4. I know the battery would be cactus and the tyres flat but in particular what would happen to the fuel and other fluids in the car, would we have to drain the fuel from the tanks for instance?
