I'd like to take this opportunity to thank ExplorOz for my
membership card and the opportunity to access a great site I have been following for a number of years now. Our recent purchase (Dec 2012) of a beautifully maintained 2009 Prado GXL has given us the drive [pun] to explore this beautiful land. Having also recently purchased 'Bush Tracks of Victoria' by Ron and Viv MOON, there appears to be every reason to get a move on. I must admit though, I don't want to scratch the beautiful machine! Oh
well, the missus did say, yesterday, "it's only a car". Haven't spoken to her since. :) thanks again guys

Thanks Mick. I suppose I was a bit "tongue in cheek". Realistically if I'm going to buy such a vehicle, I have to use it for the purpose it was built. :) And that's what I intend to do, if not cautiously at first. I've seen some shocking stuff people get up and into!!
I appreciate the tip and it just shows this site is a wealth of information.

Welcome aboard a great site & group. Even if you are like me and dont venture far off the blacktop, there is a wealth of knowledge available through this site/
forum.

Appreciate the welcome kevmac. Yes, going through mud a metre deep, probably isn't necessary just yet. I'm sure there's plenty to do without pushing the limits too early. :)

Hi Terry and welcome.
Mine took around a month to arrive but I was aware that might happen. I'd give it a week or two extra. If by then you don't receive the card you can phone or email the company as per the contact point on the website header.
Cheers,
Carsten
