Hi all,
Does anyone have information or comments on
Mount Lawson National Park in Victoria.
Has it been wet down there? Is it good camping and bush driving? Any info greatly appreciated.

Hi Ian.
Only relatively new to 4x4ing & that area is still on my bucket list, although I know the area reasonably
well.
Generally its been very dry & hot here over the past few months. They got 100 ml of rain last Wed/Thurs in that area but I'm pretty sure you would be lucky to any trace of it now.
There are quite a lot of tracks in the area as
well as nearby Eskdale,
Mitta Mitta, & Dartmouth.
Towong Shire Council has two brochures on the area "Pure 4X4 Touring" Mitta Mountains & one for
Tallangatta-Shelly. These Brochure/Maps are put out by the Shire Council & Parks Vic.
For more info
check out, Corryong
Visitor Information Centre 02 6076 2277, www.puretowong.com.au , www.towong.vic.gov.au.
Hope this may be of some assistance. When do you intend visiting this area?
Cheers,
