You lucky buggers I have deleted over 250 from our systems today alone. We have a total of 218 yesterday and I think todays total will hit 300 before the end of the day. Ah the joys of running a website and publishing your email address.
Oh just checked the inbox and 40 more in the last hour. Wish I only had 3 to worry about. As before you lucky buggers.Regards

Although my ISP apparently runs a virus checker a lot get through. I use Mailwasher to
check any emails and bounce them. You can view the words of an email and get rid of the ones that don't apply. This morning there were 4 good ones and 22 spam including suspicious which were bounced back. Some thought the ISP actually sold addresses to raise cash a year or so back :(
Mailwasher is only part of my defence system of course, but Zone Alarm helps detect some things reaching the mail box and quarantine them there. Zone Alarm is a real problem with the networking here at times especially trying to work wirelessly.Regards

Simplest way to avoid most viruses - don't open attachements unless you know exactly what they are and where they came from. Though by the sounds of it everyone here knows the drill, but please pass it on to those that don't.
The last two bid ones, the top two spreaders ever, both rely on people opening attachements to infect PCs. It never ceases to amaze me some of the crazy things people do with computers. Just when I think I've seen it all, I get another call that drops my jaw (I'm in IT btw).
