yes it makes you wonder how many people actually read the ad's..
I had an ad running for a position here in Doomadgee, had a girl from Mt Isa (500klms away) apply and stated that accomodation was not required as she had her own in Isa ????????
Oh and it was a managment job and she was fine to do it as she had done all the courses and had the paperwork to prove it ???
Yep she was an idiot, even asked in a follow up e-mail ... "where is Doomadgee" ... she never even bothered to find out where it was

Julia Buzzards current advisor, a foreigner, is on a 457 visa so I don't see why you can't have your mechanic on the same.
Check his credentials twice to be sure to be sure.
