Can anyone recommend a
campsite near
jenolan caves? Prefer a site that is dog friendly (ie
state forest) and 2wd drive access.

There's a nice one near the end of the 6 foot track about 8 kms past
Hampton towards
the caves. It's not far off the main road, 2wd would be ok. A nice grassed area and
toilets, don't know about pets though.

G'day! I use the
camp area at the
Oberon turnoff. I haven't been there for a while but it had
toilets and tables. And it's mushroom time. Hooroo

Great spot on the creek, on Kanangra Walls Rd about 10kms from the walls themselves. If your going to
the caves I recommend a visit to Kanangra Walls as
well.

I second the one on Kanangara walls road, it is called the Boyd river
camping area , we have been there a couple of times and loved it . There are drop
toilets a big hut with tables/chairs and tank water (thats if there is any water in it), the
camp site is on both sides of the road , we found the right hand side near the hut was the best.
It's also a 2wd track into it and
well kept, and not a very long drive to
the caves.
