Hi all,

Am looking at fitting a scangauge and would obviously like to have a list of the fault codes for my troopy. Could be handy out the back of beyond.
Anyone have a list or know where I could obtain them?

Regards
Craig

If you have a smart phone you many consider a bluetooth OBDII transmitter for $20 & use the "Torque" app to read/clear trouble codes plus display all engine data.
Scanner tool.

Craig do you have a link to that particular app?
Searching through the App Store there seems to be quite a few OBD2 apps but can't see "Torque"

Are you using that system??

Cheers

Ahhhh!! Found it!
Torque is an Android app, hence why it wasn't in the ITunes apps store.
Seems to be similar to a few app offerings for the various iPad & iPhone devices.

Just bear in mind there a two types of fault codes for OBD2...... normal and enhanced.

Generic code readers like the scangauge only reads normal OBD2 codes, normal OBD2 codes are more related to emission components whereby OBD2 enhanced is more vehicle specific like transmission, ABS, traction and VSC, body control, HVAC.
