Had 3 x 100 Ah Ritars in my van from new - lasted 3 years - like all run of the mill quality deep cycle AGM's they should have lasted longer - mismanagement on my part is pretty much the reason they didn't (I was learning battery management at that stage - got trapped without energy input a couple of times while free camping - they got down to the solar regulator's programmed cutoff a couple of times.......I'm only human :-o(..... I replaced them with Century DC AGM's (few options, when way out in regional centres - Century is quality anyway - but $340 a pop). My CTEK multistage, multi-program 240V charger in the van has performed perfectly for 4 years now - would happily go with that again. I have 3 solar panels and a Prostar controller (plus small gennie) to keep them charged when outback. As the experts say, battery life is greatly enhanced by keeping them well charged all the time.

Mike,
I just purchased on of These. I ended up with 2 of them because the first one had been damaged. The casing had been belted by something heavy. I had no problems having another sent and the seller was very good to deal with. They are an auto electrical business in Bainsdale Vic.

I had to send photos of course and a replacement was on the way in no time.

There are 2 reason why I have posted this.
The first one being the quality of the seller and the 2nd one being the fact Optima batteries are the suppliers of these. They wouldn't put their name behind a crap battery.

I have 3 of those in my van...they can be bought for around the $280 mark ( Battery World )

They seem to be a fairly popular brand....and price doesn't seem too bad either..

They are charged by a Projector 25A charger !!

I had a Fullriver 100 Ah that was still good after 5 years - maintained with a 15 Amp smart charger.
Excellent battery but being a conventional AGM I couldn’t charge it fast enough.
Replaced it with a fast charging system - 150 Ah Lifeline AGM and a 120 Amp taper charger.
