For those who have a Hema 4, 5, 6 or VMS GPS I've haven't been able to stop it from vibrating, until now. I changed the fitting all together to the GO PRO video camera fitting, which is so superior to the Hema fitting, all you have to do is take the backing plate off and attach it to the GO PRO fitting, no more vibrating GPS. Just thought I'd let anyone know in case they have problems to. This item can be purchased from Autobarn stores. Cost is about $45.00 worth every cent. I can't understand why Hema and VMS charge so much for there products and put a cheap fitting like this with there product.

I have a Hema 6 - absolutely no problems with vibration - maybe you got a Monday model!

Hi, Grumblebum and the Dragon
Sounds like a Monday model, Iv'e tried everything to stop the unit even replaced the bracket with a new one, with no success, I found with both suction cups the clear rubber piece was about 10mm / 15mm bigger than the main body. Looked at other brackets and they were flush. Anyway I have changed it now with the GO PRO bracket, a much better and heavier bracket.
Cheers

+1 My Hema 5 has been on the windscreen now for 3+ years and it is very stable. Agree you must've gotten a Monday or late Friday model.
