was just flicking through this months 4x4 monthly and was wundering weather any other persons using this site had noticed the very
well positioned exploreoz sticker.
an exceptional idea for getting the exploreoz name to its intended users.
small things amuse small minds

Yes - see Post ID 8847 (now in archives). Someone else had earlier found it and noted it here. We didn't know! But thanks. But hey, there are over 8 times the readers on ExplorOz than the number who get or read 4WD Monthly anyway. I'd really like to see the sticker on a vehicle in a TV Ad! (for free too of course).Regards Michelle,

Good time of year to be up this way.
To be honest i don't do alot of fishing around here as the main creeks are fished out........maybe i was spoilt from growing up in the Territory.
There is some big barra's in the Tinaroo
dam about 1 hour drive to the tablelands.
On the other hand if you have access to a boat the fishing on the reef is quite good, mmmmm
coral trout !

Don't forget its down 8 metres from normal level, some say its hard to catch barra there now because of all the old dead trees ect but i recon they are now forced to congregate together due to the lack of water so they should be easer to catch.
Hopefully its full by the time you get there.
BTW- doesn't Tinaroo hold the record for the largest barra ever caught ?

They seem to pop up at significant points don't they?
I'm sure Exploroz members know what is appropriate.
We have just completed 6500 k's touring around Victoria (did lots of tracks and dirt roads), saw lots of 4WD's but didn't see one Exploroz sticker.
We have 2 Exploroz stickers on our 4X4 so we were a bit disappointed not to "make contact" with any other members.
Oh
well!
