Mt Magnet Accomodation

Can anyone reccomend a good place to stop for 1 night in Mt Magnet? Looking for a cabin or room for 2 adults and 2 small kids.

Does it have to be Mount Magnet? Cue may have better options. Hotel/Motels are the Murchison Club Hotel/Motel – Ph: 08 9963 1020 and the Queen of the Murchison B&B – Ph: 9963 1625.

Thanks Motherhen, I was trying to get as close to Perth as I could without the missus and kids trying my patience. Will give them a ring.

Hi Goerge

As campers we have not stayed or purchased meals in Cue. I have heard no complaints.

Mt Magnet, has 3 pubs with accommodation. The Grand, Commercial and MtMagnet hotel, all within 100m of each other.
There is also a caravan park, which is pretty good by W.A mining town standards.

With the accomodation, when booking ask for a unit away from the main road as it is the main thoroughfare for tucks.

Gidday

I have stayed in motel style units at the Caltex roadhouse on the north side of town. Basic but clean and the shower was hot. it is a truck stop with a big loading yard so noise might be an issue

Cheers
