Could someone please enlighten a poor lingo illiterate yobbo.
For the life of me I've no idea what "BTW" and all the other plethorae of contractions mean.
A simple listing would be greatly appreciated as it would allow yours truly to follow the conversation string.
Thanks in anticipation

Being a sufferer of FITH syndrome and CRAFTs disease I was unable to decipherFOOSH, but the others are in common usage, but I haven't used GAMP since an orthopaedic term. Although not an acronym, one of my favourite expressions is "approaching room temperature" (ie they have a very poor prognosis)Bob

Rosco, try
BTW - By the Way
BRB - Be right back
IMHO - In my humble opinion
LOL - Laugh out loud
ROFLMHO - Rolling on floor laughing my head off
SWMBO - She who must be obeyed
WYSIWYG - What you see is what you get
MFWAF - Minister for war and finance (see SWMBO)
Very confusing some of them but at least they are easily explained - all the tech talk re tyres "Yeah mate wack a set of 33x 16 x 175 ST Muddies on her - they have less rolling resistance than a set of 285/16/85 wahtevers" - now that is confusing stuff...LOL
