Hi All,

A recent mention of this airfield in the latest trexk notes again raised my interest.
I visited this airfield a couple of years ago on my trip down the full length of the Connie Sue and was amazed to find such a large well kept airfield way out nowhere.

Could anyone please tell me the history and use of this place?

Thanks in anticipation.
Happy 4 wheeling

Woodsy, Sorry I think I have the wrong strip. i can't work out which one you refer to as the connie sue is south of Warburton. I thought you might have been talking about the one 184 ks east of neale J. just south of the x roads there. I willek notes.
Lindsay.

Hi Lindsay,

Of course you are right. South it should have been. I was holding my compass too close to my pacemaker and the needle went all funny.Happy 4 wheeling
