Can anyone suggest a good windscreen video camera with continual looping . I can't find any thread to this topic, if there is could someone please advise.
Looking for something with good resolution that i can hook into a 12v socket supply in the dash and be able to swap it from vechile to vechile. Did not think the gopro hero3 was up to what i require, as it does not do continual loop.

thanks guys. Just looked at the web site - blackvue , and looks good.
I will contact them for further info. Price seems to reasonable for what i'm looking at doing. They may be able to further enhance the area for the purpose for which it is to be used.

many thanks

Know a guy on another forum who purchased one on eBay ( another Chinese branded type) and found it did not do all it was supposed to. He then purchased a Blackvue and was amazed at the difference and ease of use.

About $270 from an Oz (Brisbane) importer HERE. He has posted an interesting comparison between an apparently dodgy ebay model and his genuine version fwiw. Is anyone using the blackbox to power theirs?

I recently got one from Jaycar and seems OK so far. Very good resolution. Instructions are basically non existent but I just connected and it works. Had to download an update from the Jaycar site.

1984,
the cheapest dash cam with no frills (speed or gps) is the DVR027. It does the job and is very reliable.

All suffer from heat so you have to try and shield them from the sun.

Read all the reviews you can get. Remember tests and reviews are different. Cameras that were good on test can be hopeless 6 months down the track.

Here is a link to the DVR027. Cheap but it is reliable

Sorry I should have added. If you go down this track buy another power supply as the one supplied can interfer with the vehicle radio.

If you want to go more expensive have a look at the aussie made vision drive.
