I've been trying to reach Cotton Creek on the phone for a few days now, to no avail.

Need to know if they have opal & diesel available, is anyone able to reach them on HF possibly? I'm chasing 220l opal/ulp and 120l diesel in a couple of weeks time.

Cheers,
Alex

4lex,

I doubt very much if they have any petrol at all.
I know that they only had diesel and when I was there last 2010??? diesel was $4:00 a litre cash only. Things might have changed but I doubt it.

You could always pre order fuel from Capricorn Road house and have it delivered to Well 23. People do this when travelling the Canning Stock Route.
You also have Newman and Well 33 depending on where you are going.

I'm assured they normally do keep it these days by the nice lady at western deserts.

I have contacted a freind who worked there a few months ago and this is his answer..

""" only diesel, but plenty of it......use to have a couple of 44's of ULP in the shed but would sell quick...... """

The petrol was only for a few bikes around and about 3 cars that rarely got used..

I am running a trip with seven vehicles to Rudall NP in August and will require approximately 1000 litres of diesel at Cotton Creek. I am also having trouble contacting them. Will I need to call before going or just arrive there. We are not concerned about the price but am concerned there will not be fuel there when we arrive.
If someone can steer me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated
Cheers

Thanks Jo,
We are travelling the CSR North to South and will fuel at Kunawarritiji then detour to spend a few days at Rudall NP then refuel at Cotton Creek (800-1000 litres) before continuing on to Wiluna
