Hi everyone,
Hope you all are having a safe and happy
Easter break.
I'm looking into the Hema iPad App. Could anyone who has one tell me if you can save the tracks that it records as you travel, and then somehow get those tracks out to paste into a trip diary or onto Google Earth?
Thanks,
Ray

Good question. It took me about two minutes to actually do it.
You can email the tack from the Hema App on the iPad. It is in the .gpx format. I received the email on another computer. I selected the attachment and it asked me which application I wanted to open it with. I chose Google Earth and it opened up and displayed my track.

I just tried it with the Mud Map App. It seems to have greater flexibility in terms of editing tracks but is no where as easy to use.
I haven't knowingly saved tracks, but when I clicked the tracks icon there was a massive 8000km track with a maximum altitude of 11.5 km (in an aircraft). It was actually too big to edit on my iPad 1. You are then invited to upload the track. This it did successfully but it wasn't immediately obvious to me where it ended up or how I could then use it.

Thanks Bob for looking into this for me. Good to know that it's possible.
