My Place Rating:
We pitched a tent here over the
Easter break and were thrilled to have the place to ourselves. Lots of sightseers to the weir during the day but from 5pm to 11am each morning had the reserve and weir to ourselves. Beautiful spot by the creek with fantastic
rock formations - although the water quite brown and not suitable for drinking or cooking. Cannot drive car down to campsites as
gate is locked but not far to carry equipment. There are two brick fire pits with cast iron cooking plates and we also had a large timber platform/table by our site.
