Review: Bungendore Showground - NSW

Bungendore showground is OK for a one night stop over. It costs $20 per night and for that you get power (not always easily accessible unless you have a very long lead) and clean shower/ toilet facilities. Make sure you check in with the caretaker immediately on arrival! After a long drive we missed the check- in sign .Shortly after selecting a site the caretaker appeared and rather rudely berated us for setting up prior to seeing him. (Though he did later apologise) Perhaps in future in similar circumstances, he could advise campers of the cost by saying ‘excuse me there is a fee of $20 rather than assuming they are trying to avoid payment’.
