Old Hyden Road

Hi all,
Has anyone heard of the "Old Hyden Road" could you please tell me where it runs from and to? Cant find it on google and maps are packed away for the night.

Hi Dirt Princess

As per my story on the linked thread. We backed out as we were towing a heavy caravan with a 3 litre Patrol and did not need any more dramas.

The 30 metres or so we travelled from the Norseman end was fine.

This end looks fine, and was better as far as we cold see than the southern end of the Victoria Rocks Road were were travelling on when I took the photo.

What lays in the middle I cannot vouch for, but from the report on the 4wd site from the second link, we made a wise decision for our circumstances.

The track is on my trusty map book - Roads and Tracks of Western Australia.

I live not too far away and have heard with the rain we had a little while back, 36mm here, that the track closed. Been dry since then but phone the shire and save yourself some potential trouble and give some peace of mind.
