Greetings,
I'm in the midst of a round the world trip and planning to arrive in
Cairns the first week of September. I'd really like to do the trip to the top but the overland trips are just way out of my budget.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

You might need to give out a bit more info so we get a better idea about what you want to do. eg are you hoping to find someone with space for a passenger, or do you want to purchase a vehicle and tag along - or what?
