Kristie & Vaughn are you sure of your time frame, 8 days is certainly not time enough to do what you had planned.
Perth to
Canberra is at least a 4 day trip one way.

We are spending about 3 week's in
Canberra. The 8 or so days is just the drive over there. Done the road drive heaps over the last couple of years thought it wad time to try something different. We will be coming back via the roads.
