Greetings all, after an 7 1/2 trip to
Kalbarri with no probs I parked the car and kicked back with a few beers. Next day, hopped into car for alook around and for the first 10mins or so there was horrible noisy grinding bearing sound when using clutch. Box warms up and all appears OK. It's been doing it everyday, for first 10 mins since and sometimes when clutch is on the floor and you select 1st gear to take off the car jumps a bit(clutch not disengaging fully?). I finally changed GB and TC oils just in case but is still there. Clutch is 9 months and 12,000ks old and the car has done 276,000k's. Me thinks the thrust bearing is stuffed but why would car be jumping when putting it in gear???
Any help would be good.
thanks
