Hi
We are travelling from
Normanton to
Darwin via the Savanah way in June, has anyone travelled on the "Ryans Bend Road" between Boroloola and the Limmen National Park.
If so whats the road like, also any advice regarding camping at the "Southern Lost City" or "Butterfly Springs" in the park.
Cheer

Hi David,
I went to
Borroloola from
Lorella Springs on Thursday and the road is in great shape, as a matter of fact it is the best it's been for a few years now. All creeks are now flowing and the deepest is around 500mm deep.
As for camping at
Southern lost city it is very basic with drop
toilets, Butterfly springs is good and the water fall might still be flowing, as we had a late rain at
easter. Drop in to
Lorella Springs it has a great
camp ground with hot springs and you can day trip to the
southern lost city.
Andy
