I am on LPG and very rarely go OFF the bitumen.
I don't carry my spare but rather a container of "slime" and a compressor.
Six or seven months ago I used it to seal a puncture in my wife's car and was impressed and pleased with the result.
I recently heard that slime can damage a tire to the point it can not be repaired.
Has anyone got any experience/knowledge of the product/s?

With Thanks Kyle

Kyle,
One product that doesn't cause any problems with the rim or tyre is this product. It actually looks after trims really well and makes it easy to get the tyres off.

Have a look HERE

I've used it on my tractor tyres for a couple of years and it works well. Had no problems and had no reason to check the inside of the tyre as there have been no further leaks.
