Just loaded EOTrackme on my HTC and it opens OK
Loaded my User ID M77XX as per the instructions
run app with GPS or with Cell tower locations and all OK
Issue is when I start logging or send a single point location I get the followinf message in the Server Line

ERROR: Auto Registration Not Found.

What have I done wrong???

And I have a reasonable understanding of the network requirements

maybe lst some brain cells after a red wine but hey this is not rocket science.

Regards

Geoff

should be auto registration once you have paid the $5 fee for members.
That worked ok for me.

Geoff,

I cannot find an order in the system for you. Do you have an order number which I can lookup?

The EOTrackMe Android system is free to install and test but the Auto Rego is done via a shop order for the $5 client access license.

Geoff,

Sorry found you order and it is setup correctly - can you try the Android system again please and let me know. There was a system issue when you order Android and Windows in the same order - this has now be resolved.

David
Thanks for the prompt resolve of the small issue.
The phone and software now work really well.

Think I should utilise the GPS and not be so reliant on the Cell Site Location method.

Prob more accurate.

Geoff,
It is a setting you can change but ti will default to the best method. But if you go into settings - Logging Details - you can enable prefer cell towers - if you do not enable this it will use what it finds based on the time interval for accuracy value - if this is set to 0 then it will work to get a position as quickly as possible and this may mean cell tower but if you turn it to say 10 secs it will see if it can get a fix in time else return cell tower - once you go outback it will have to use GPS. You can also effect this by setting the Accuracy before logging value to a number like 100metres and in this case the device will keep trying till it gets a position of at least 100m accuracy before sleeping again.

Hope this helps explain it - I need to write so documentation on this though we hoped it would be self explanatory - I think the text in the screen needs a little work and this may alleviate the need for extra documentation.
