Ran over the lunch box with the landrover about a month ago,( seniors moment ..lol.)

The sole survivor was my ten year old stanley thermos, although with a big ding in the middle stayed intact and still keeps a cuppa tea as hot as ever..lol. ...convinced me their a ok brand.

Cheers Axle.

Just thinking Axle! The damage to drivers from airbags can sometimes be worse than without them. Good to see you are ok!! :)) Michael

Had a Stanley thermos for a couple of years. Kept water boiling whilst it was being poured in and by eight hours later it was stone cold. The most useless piece of crap I ever had! Now have had a Thermos brand and it is the best thing I ever bought.

I had a Thermos brand that died, replaced it, got a small knock a few days later ………… dead.
Thought seriously about buying one of those cheap Chinese things from the supermarket …… but didn't.
Maybe Stanley is the way to go - and support Marcos Ambrose at the same time ….. LOL

With the very large number of very thick wholemeal bread sandwiches packed all around it I reckon there should have been no dents at all.
Have you seen what he eats for lunch!

Not only durable Axle - but they carry that lifetime guarantee.

I had problems with one a few years back and after 25 years I thought I would put the claim to test.

My initial request was met with a confirmation of the replacement - on production of a receipt. Now I am usually pretty good at producing receipts, but that had me stumped as it was a present on my departure from a previous location and when I advised them of that detail. The outcome was - no problem, send your old one back and we will replace it - as they did.

I am now the happy owner of a top Stanley thermos - which meets all of their claims - but I haven't tried running over it yet - that is a real testimony to their durability.

Cheers - Phil
