Hi Joe,
While in Mungerainnie last week, I was informed that the Birdsville Inside track has re-opened.....yet to be confirmed but I guess for someone interested in heading up that way, it might be worth looking into. Wish I had of known before I came down the usual outside track.

Correct, just did the inside track a few days ago and it is as smooth as a babies b*^%#<!

Massively GREEN with envy. I've wanted to do the inside track since watching Jack Absolom take it on in his brown Sigma wagon.

For the last 3 years I've been denied the privillage. Oh well, I know where I'll be headed next time I go north.

Yes Fab it was a great run and very picturesque! We also had a great run across Simpson - French Line, we did it in 2 days 1 night! Only had to go to low range half a dozen times East to West! Track is not too cut up yet, took us 3 days last year.
