Any of the leading brands are fine...... ARB, Tough Dog, EFS, Koni, Bilstein.
It comes down to personal choice.

G'day Graham,
I have Old Man Emu springs under my 80 - mediums in the front and heavy in the back (I think they are 400s, the second heaviest spring).
I matched them with ARB Sports shocks. This has been a brilliant set up for everything I use it for for.
I use the vehicle everyday fro work and play. It works really good for outback touring and I've tested a few times. Before I replaced the
suspension setup it looked like a Four Runner when I loaded it up.
The handling is excellent on rough roads when fully loaded.

You might also consider RAW they are made in Australia by Powerdown who are involved with truck
suspension equipment. They have invested a lot of money in a shock
test setup that is world class and have done the time testing and developing. I put a set on the 79 series ute with canopy and drove 5000km to Lake Eyre with no problems at all, I'm quite happy with them and about to do a 7500km round trip to Ayres
Rock this year.
