reversing/wireless cameras

Hi Trekkers, just a follow up on the recent item about installing a wireless camera..I have a good quality wired system and it doesnt work well at night or against any bright backgound, i assume due to inadequete level of (day)lighting, flare, or reflection from the in- camera IRed LED's .I have also seen this effect on security camera systems in variable lighting situations.
