Bruxner Highway

Im after some information regarding traveling down the Bruxner Highway from Tenterfield to Ballina, i will be towing a 26foot caravan with a ford f 250,im interested in the conditions of the road, any local people i would be very much interested in your feedback.

Good day Humpback, the 250 might struggle going up the hills, should have got an Izuzu just joking. Will be a walk in the park a few tight turns Tenterfield side of Drake otherwise keep an eye timber log trucks, a lot of activity on that road. Cheers John

We've done that road quite a few times over the past year and it is good as gold.
Plenty of bends in places but all good

I have to agree. It is a good road. South on the Gwyder is windier and road works until October due to landslips. 2.5 metre wide lane, alternating traffic. The road through Drake is your best bet.
