Review: Orchid Beach

Challenging to get there but one of the best places in the world. Orchid Beach has a small local resident population, about 25 holiday homes for rent, a very good local store called The Trading Post (who you can book accommodation through), great fishing from the beach and plenty of dingoes if you have a tourist with you to show. 4WD vehicles only, You can also access by plane. There's lots of hazards that can trip up the inexperienced traveler so do your research, make sure your 4WD is well prepared, study maps and National Parks condition reports, best to travel with another vehicle so you can tow each other out if you get bogged in the many spots inexperienced drivers get stuck in.
