Hi All,

Just yesterday my fuel guage stopped reporting the sub-tank level when selected. The valve still works, fuel flows, but no orange 'sub' light, and no change to the needle position.

Maybe someone else has had this recently and can offer advice before I get underneath - or worse - take it back to Toyota! 100 series Turbo Diesel, only 12000 ks new.

Thanks for the good advice as always.

Vic

Toyota are aware of this problem & the fix is to replace the instrument cluster

Contact your Toyota dealer & they will help you out

Had the same problem with mine. Toyota fixed it under warranty, but not until my wife ran out of fuel cause the fuel gauge said full on main tank but it was running on the empty sub-tank.
