I have a sneaking suspision that it might have been Navigator 1 by the description. They turn up everywhere and occassionally in two or three places at once ;-)

Yes, you were both right - Navigator 1 - but no, not a Unimog. It is a motorhome build on a Mitsubishi 4X4. (Built in Perth)
We had just finished playing around in the Vic High Country.
On this trip we have been pulled over by several members just to say Hello. Fantastic!
