Hi all.
I am looking for a camping/caravan park approx 150-200ks from
Brisbane reasonably close to a dam/lake with yabbies. The bigger the better. The yabbies I mean !!
Would be greatfull for any help.

Borumba
Dam near Imbil has plenty of Red Claw. Either
camp at the
dam or the Deer park up the road.

Thanks Guys perhaps I will give Sumerset a try . I see a few tracks leading to the
dam water. Do any of these lead to good quiet camping areas?

I think you are refering to red claw rather than yabbies. You might find that they are off now considering the colder weather we are experiencing in QLD at this time of year. We did catch 600 in 5 days at Boondooma but that was in March.

Yes Petengail it was Red Claw I was after.
And Baz and Pud. I just wanted to take my dear daughter and her husband to experience a few days camping. Could be the first and the last !!
Will look forward to seeing you both on the 19th June
Cheers
