Hi All,
Thinking of doing the trip West to East next week. Any updates on the road condition after all the rain that has come down over the last few days?

they've had a bit of rain in the past few days, so you might want to ring them or find out some other way.

The road was closed at Giles earlier this week as they copped over 50mm.
Heading up the Connie Sue next week and coming West on the GCR. From what I've heard, the road is getting bad.........

I haven't been able to update our website as yet as i just got
home last night myself.
I was stuck in
Yulara a few days with that rain.
It opened yesterday morning. A fair bit of water on the road between
Kata Tjuta and Warakurna but easily traversable.
The road from Warakurna to
Warburton is in excellent condition, and then from
Warburton to
Laverton has some areas of heavy corrugations.
