Hi we will be travelling in September from
Alice Springs to
Cairns towing a Jayco carpervan outback,we have approx 12 days to travel.
Would like some ideas of
places to stay and things to do.We are in our 40's with 1 child 7 year old any info would be appreciated.

Are you going via the Stuart and Barkly Highways rather than the Plenty? If so you might like to look at My
Blogs for 2009. We did not go as far as
Cairns as seeing the dinosaur and fossil country was what we wanted to do whilst in Queensland before turning south due to time of year and our commitments.
Lawn Hill was a stand out for us and
Mount Isa Visitor Centre had a lot of interest.
