Gday folks,

Version 1.21 is now available for Ozi Android.

http://www.oziexplorer.com/

A few minor changes stated:

Fixed gaps being created in track tail logging.
Changed "pinch to zoom" - a pinch now only changes 1 zoom level at a time.
Fixed waypoint colors when exported to file.
Fixed "NM - feet" configuration setting not working correctly.
The Track Tail now plots on top of user tracks.
Added Track Tail Point Log Distance and Track File Point Log Distance parameters to configuration. These parameters are the maximum distance traveled before a track point is taken. Other factors such as direction or speed change also cause track points to be logged. Setting these parameters to low values causes more track point to be logged. Example - setting to zero would log all track points.

The download link still says version 1.20 however 1.21 downloaded for me.

Have you checked out Ozi screen designer, also available from the Ozi website?

I've been using this for a few years on CE, and now on Android. You can create you own custom made screens, designed by you, for you own needs. I've created a navigation screen, planning screen, main screen and map only screen. It eliminates all the buttons and features that you never use and don't need that come standard.

Many thanks Alan - I didn't know about customisation.

Will have a play before I leave for parts north next week.

Cheers.

Alan,
with your apparent inside knowledge do you know if an iOS version might be in the pipeline?
It strikes me as odd that a developer can delay so long the release an app with 100s of millions of platforms out there just waiting for it.
