How to remove clips from GU3 Mud Guard

I need to get this inner guard off from above front wheels of my GU3 Patrol.
Just wondering if anyone knows how to get this clip (circled) off?

G'day, think that you will find that the clip is like the one below, you need to lever the middle part out and then the clip should come out. Hope this helps?

Don't lever it out!!! you will ruin the plug for re-instalation. Push the center part in! it will make a click then release the grip it has then pull the plug out.
Then lift pin out all the way for re-install, push plug in only one click.
