Hello there,

Im appealing to owners of Oztent Tagalong tents for some info and advice.

I'm interested in the Oztent Tagalong 5, mainly due to Oztents quality and also its price compared to the proper RV5.

I havent seen one in the flesh so I'm guided by the propaganda that says its only freestanding and needs to be attached to an RV5 for support.

Can anyone let me know whet would be involved in trying to make the Oztent Tagalong a free standing tent ?

I guess I could attach more guy ropes to the upright poles. But would a horizontal spreader bar at the peak be easily fitted ? ?

I know the Tagalong attaches to the Rhino Sunseeker awning which is fine if you done want to move your car once set up.

I'm probably a bit tight to buy the proper RV5 but there must be a "neat" way to make the Tagalong freestanding.

Any advice or help greatly appreciated.

cheers,
Aaron
