Queensland cane season has begun

Just a reminder for all the interstate visitors to Queensland that the cane harvesting season has begun in the north and will be underway throughout coastal Queensland in the next couple of weeks.

Be aware of cane train crossings, haul out tractors and cane trucks until mid December.

Every year it seems that a few unsuspecting tourists have accidents.
