Sorry, this article could have been helpful if it went on to tell you actually how to use the items suggested. I purchased a global sat mouse long ago and as it came without instruction, i am still no better off for reading this article. My global satmpuse will still stay in itsbox

Which Map Software are you trying to use the GPS receiver with? This will determine how you configure the Mouse GPS.
A good idea would be to also have a look at the
Laptops & Netbooks article, as this tells you all about how a
GPS Reciever,
Map Viewing Software and
Digital Maps work together for navigation.
